The front view of the cylinder block.
Left side shows the cylinder block itself,
the right side shows the yoke. The whole
structure is fixed on a T-shape nickel silver plate.
This block also contains the valvegear
and crosshead guides. It can be removed
as a single unit, just the crosshead pin
and the eccentric rod pin in the reverse link
should be pulled out.
A similar solution can be found in the earlier Class 342 and Class 325 models as well. |
