Prototype pictures of MÁV standard accessories

Ádánd állomás minipic The standard wooden storage building in the small station Ádánd. Even the porch is visible over the door, this is a rare part today. The old style lamp is also worth to observe.

Tab állomás minipic A similar storage building in Tab, some 20 kilometers from Ádánd. Here the windows are already boarded.

Bábonymegyer állomás minipic The old restroom in Bábonymegyer. It differs from the standard building but very similar to it. Perhaps some later local construction.

Ádánd állomás raktár minipic The concrete fence elements in Ádánd. On the right side the standard MÁV blocks, you can see theme everywhere in Hungary. The left side model is different. In the '20s, before standardizing the final type several other designs were applied.

Szabványos kút minipic A station well. This was also a standard design, although one can find many different versions of the roof shape. This well stays in the open air museum in Ó-Pusztaszer.

Állomás ajtaja minipic The MÁV standard door of the Mocsolád station building. The doors were strictly standardized, too.

Ádánd állomás minipic In Ádánd one can still find old type hand setting switches. Not operable, they are fixed in straight position. This station is not any more suitable for switching trains.

Water crane minipic Around the plinthed Class 375,008 loco at the Csopak station on the Balaton north shore a few pieces of other old railway equipment has been placed. Among them this water crane. It looks like a rather late version. The picture was taken on August 19th 2004.
