Bn class (2nd Class) passenger car model

MÁV Bn car minipic Side view of the model, before finishing the platforms. This pictur shows well, these cars wre rather long.

MÁV Bn car minipic The chassis of th car. Although it has a yeellowish hue its material is nickel silver. These cars were already constructed with separate air tank and brake cylinder. The lighting gas reservoir is not really big.

MÁV Bn car minipic Th ready made model before painting. The window sheets are not yet installed, thus a masking is not necessary. The windows will b fixed in the painted cars.

MÁV Bn car minipic Th car's roof. The gas lamps and th ventillation assemblies were installed in a common body. However all components on the roof were glued only after painting, as they are black while th roof itself white.

MÁV Bn car minipic MÁV Bn car minipic The front view with open and closed doors. In the closed platform models the doors were fixed on the front wall here it is not possible, as there is no front wall at the car end. Thus all is mounted on the buffer beam.

Cn class (3rd Class) passenger car model

MÁV Class Cn car model minipic The Class Cn (3rd Class) car model before painting. Only the windows and a few small parts differ from the 2nd Class version, which was constructed 3 years before.

MÁV Class Cn car model minipic The Class Cn car model side view. The roof color differs a bit from the Class Bn model. This roof was made using 3D printing procedure, the Class Bn car roof is an urethane mold.

In these cars there were 5 seats in a row, arranged as 3+2. This the passageway was not cerntered. The doors are deplaced, as well.

MÁV Class Cn car model minipic The bottom view of the 3rd Class car. The difference against the 2nd Class car is the coupler rod. The 2nd Class car was equipped with a short coupler, but this showed no practical advantage. Thus the 3rd Class car has a simple, flat brass rod, holding a returning spring and fixed by a screw
